Professional Background
With over 17 years of experience in the field of information technology,
I have developed excellent planning, configuration, implementation, maintenance
and troubleshooting skills in a network environment. For the last 6 years
I have worked as a "hands-on", senior level IT operations manager
with a wide range of responsibilities, including production server planning,
configuration and implementation for Exchange, SQL Server, IIS, file and
printer sharing, network monitoring and management, information security
measures, web site design and implementation, office automation, training
and documentation. During that time I have been a primary resource for
my employers and our clients to make strategic technology decisions and
implement them. For most of my career I have provided end-user technical
support in addition to my other responsibilities. I have a strong customer
service philosophy that I apply to every area of my work. Everyone who
depends upon the work I do is treated with the highest courtesy and respect,
whether they are our clients or other employees and I am dedicated to
providing them with the best technology resources possible.
My career has included roles in front-line technical support, corporate consulting, network resource management for an Ivy League graduate school, mission critical implementation and support for the financial services industry, and personalized consulting for individuals and small business owners.
